On the afternoon of October 22, Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended and directed the final rehearsal for the Congress of the 4th Thai Nguyen Province Ethnic Minorities in 2024.

According to the plan, the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Thai Nguyen Province will take place over two days (October 23-24) with the participation of 250 official delegates representing over 384,000 ethnic minority people in the province. The Congress's theme is "Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen Province: Unity, Innovation, Creativity, Leveraging Advantages and Potential, Integration and Sustainable Development".

During the rehearsal, the Steering Committee reviewed several contents of the Official Congress Session, including: delegate reception, delegate seating arrangements; artistic performance program welcoming the Congress; screening of documentary about the province's ethnic affairs activities during 2019-2024; commendation and rewards for outstanding collectives and individuals. The Committee also reviewed the exhibition contents, including photo displays, distinctive cultural and artistic products of ethnic minorities, traditional tools, musical instruments, traditional crafts, OCOP products...

Speaking at the final rehearsal, comrade Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, highly appreciated the Congress preparation by related agencies and units. He also noted several points: The costumes for artistic performances need to maintain authentic ethnic cultural identity, create an excited and enthusiastic atmosphere and demonstrate unity among ethnic groups. The Organizing Committee needs to select appropriate program hosts; decoration, ceremonial arrangements and emulation-reward activities need to be balanced, ensuring solemnity and rationality. He also requested that after the rehearsal, the Organizing Committee fully incorporate feedback from delegates and prepare all contingency plans to ensure the Congress's success according to the planned objectives.
