On June 18, the Women's Union of Thai Nguyen province held a signing ceremony to mark the agreement on implementing the "Hope Village Project Phase 3" with the Global Civic Sharing (GCS) organization from South Korea.

The "Hope Village Project Phase 3" is sponsored by Samsung Electronics (South Korea) through GCS. Under this agreement, GCS will provide 6 billion VND to the Women's Union of Thai Nguyen province to support impoverished and near-poor households in the province in activities such as livestock farming, agriculture, and small business development.
The project will span over three years, starting from July 2024. During the implementation period, GCS, the Women's Union, and local authorities will organize comprehensive training sessions to enhance the self-sufficiency of farmers and conduct regular monitoring to ensure effective project management.
The "Hope Village Project" in Thai Nguyen province is built upon the foundation of friendship between Vietnam and South Korea, aiming to promote sustainable community development, contribute to poverty reduction, increase incomes, and improve living standards for residents in Thai Nguyen province.
GCS is an international non-governmental organization that began operating in Vietnam in 1998. To date, the organization has made significant efforts to improve lives and increase incomes for many Vietnamese people.
