Post-COVID-19 in Vietnam: People’s lives constantly improved

Currently, in the province, there are 17.8 out of 22.2 thousand hectares of tea using production methods according to safe and organic standards. Of which, the VietGAP-certified area is 4,368 hectares; The area certified for organic standards is 65 hectares; 4,092 hectares were permitted to meet the conditions to ensure food safety.​​​​​​​

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have recently handed over equipment and officially opened a new laboratory at the Reference Testing and Agrifood Quality Consultancy (RETAQ) Centre, making it a leading food safety testing lab in the country.
