Specifically, the number of newly registered businesses was 195, up 10.2 percent compared to the same period last year. The total registered capital reached 1,446 billion VND, equal to 61.2 percent compared to the same period last year. The number of businesses returning to operation after a temporary suspension was 168, down 28.8 percent compared to the same period, while the number of businesses temporarily suspended was 401, rising 10.8 percent compared to the same period. The number of businesses that closed their tax code was 155, up 61.5 percent compared to the same period.
The number of businesses joining and re-joining the market decreased compared to the same period in 2022, while the number of businesses withdrawing from the market increased sharply compared to the same period, indicating that the business community still faces many difficulties in the process of recovery and development.
