Thai Nguyen solemnly celebrates 30th anniversary of relations between Vietnam and Korea

On the evening of December 6, Thai Nguyen province solemnly held the 30th anniversary of relations between Vietnam and Korea (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2022). Attending the ceremony were Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, a member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; representatives of central departments and ministries; representatives of the Embassy of Korea and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (Korea) in Vietnam.

On the side of Thai Nguyen province, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, attended the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Trinh Viet Hung emphasized the brilliant achievements in many fields that Vietnam and Korea have been achieved after 30 years of diplomatic ties. Thai Nguyen is proud to be one of the bright spots contributing to that good relationship.

Thai Nguyen always attaches great importance to partners from Korea to strengthen the comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship between the two countries. Since 2005, Thai Nguyen province and Gyeongsangbuk-do province (Korea) have maintained friendly cooperation and achieved many good results. The two localities always give each other support and practical cooperation.

In recent years, Thai Nguyen province has been one of the bright spots attracting domestic and international investors and one of the production bases of prominent investors from Korea, such as Samsung Group, Dongwha Group, Jukwang, KET Vina, RF-Tech, Samju, Dongsung...

Over the years, Korean organizations, businesses, and investors contributed to the province's social security, education - training, healthcare, and job creation.

Chairman Trinh Viet Hung wishes that with the traditional friendship, the investment cooperation activities between the two countries will be more effective and in-depth based on the support of the two sides. 

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan awards the Friendship Medal to Mr. Lee Byeong Kuk.

Under the State President's authorization, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the Friendship Medal to Mr. Lee Byeong Kuk, General Director of Samsung Thai Nguyen.
