Recently, Thai Nguyen Coordination Office of the National Target Program on new rural construction held a meeting with representatives of 9 districts and cities to launch the Culinary Festival. It is the first large-scale culinary festival held in the province.
At the meeting, the Organizing Committee informed the contents related to the festival, such as topic, participation form, and subjects. Accordingly, artisans and chefs will cook unique dishes for their regions according to the time specified by the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee will support the winning dishes to promote images, promote trade, and print their image in the province and Vietnam Culinary Association publications.
With the theme "Unique flavor, imbued with traditional cuisine", the festival is an opportunity to introduce and honor the traditional culinary culture of ethnic people. Thereby exploiting the potential and strengths of the national cultural identity to enhance the value of OCOP products associated with rural tourism development in new rural construction.
The festival is expected to be held in early December at May Plaza Hotel (Thai Nguyen City) and will also display OCOP and specific agricultural products of the province.
