Accumulated to the end of October 2022, 1,418 people are working abroad in the province under labor contracts. Of these, 621 people work in Japan, 750 people in Taiwan (China), 15 in Malaysia, and 32 in Chinese, Singapore, and Hungary.
Thousands of people were consulted about the foreign labor market at Thai Nguyen Provincial Employment Service Center's job sessions. |
After nearly 3 years of interruption due to the COVID-19 epidemic, from mid-2022, the labor export market has returned to normal.
At the same time, the provincial authorities have received 119 applications for the Korean language exam under the EPS program in the second round of 2022, mainly in the manufacturing, agriculture, and fishery industries.
To ensure the safety of labor export participants, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has closely coordinated with the Center for Overseas Labor (Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs) to implement the labor export program effectively; provide the Department of Foreign Affairs with data and information on the province's employees; actively coordinate with relevant agencies and functional units to organize support activities for Thai Nguyen employees working abroad.
Along with labor export, provincial authorities have also accurately grasped the situation of foreign workers coming to work in Thai Nguyen to facilitate management.
