Awarding 10 certificates of export growing area codes

Recently, in Dong Hy district, the Sub-department of Cultivation and Plant Protection under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference to award certificates of export growing area codes to 10 cooperatives and enterprises in the area. These are the first area codes of Thai Nguyen province to be certified by the Plant Protection Department. 

Leaders of the Sub-Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection awarded certificates of export growing area codes to cooperatives and enterprises of Dong Hy district.

In particular, there are 8 codes for tea growing areas, 1 for pomelo growing area, and 1 for bamboo shoots growing. The certificate is valid from August 31, 2022, to August 31, 2023.

After being certified, the units continue to comply with regulations, strictly control pesticide residues and notify the authorities of any changes in the planting area code. At the same time, the monitoring results are stored in the Sub-Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection for inspection.

It will be a condition and opportunity to export agricultural products of Thai Nguyen province to foreign markets, contributing to improving product value and increasing income for farmers.
