Thai Nguyen launches 2026 tourism photo contest

On the afternoon of March 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism launched the 2026 “Beautiful Photos of Thai Nguyen Tourism” contest.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens aged 15 and above, both in Vietnam and overseas, as well as foreigners living and working in Vietnam. Submitted entries must be photographs that authentically capture new tourism perspectives of natural landscapes, historical relics, scenic sites, tourist destinations, types of tourism, traditional craft villages, festivals, and cultural, sports, and tourism events. Photos must be taken in Thai Nguyen Province and Bac Kan Province (before and after the provincial merger) from January 1, 2024, until the submission deadline on June 30, 2026.

The contest aims to further promote and publicize the image of Thai Nguyen’s land and people to domestic and international visitors, while also seeking and selecting high-quality photographs to build a resource database for tourism promotion and marketing activities.
