Phan Dinh Phung Ward People’s Committee and Thai Nguyen University sign comprehensive cooperation agreement

On the afternoon of January 14, the Phan Dinh Phung Ward People’s Committee held a conference to sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Thai Nguyen University, aiming to strengthen coordination in socio-economic development, promote digital transformation, and improve the quality of life for residents.

Under the agreement, the Phan Dinh Phung Ward People’s Committee commits to creating favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms and administrative procedures, as well as ensuring public order and security, to enable Thai Nguyen University to effectively carry out training, scientific research, and infrastructure development activities in the locality. Thai Nguyen University will coordinate with the Ward People’s Committee in providing consultation, professional support, and implementing programs and projects aligned with practical grassroots needs.

Both sides agreed to focus cooperation on several key areas, including education, training and human resource development; mobilizing students and youth volunteers; and receiving students for internships.

Digital transformation and innovation, urban planning, infrastructure, environmental protection, science and technology, ensuring public order and security, residence management, and communications were also identified as long-term pillars of cooperation.

The signing of the comprehensive cooperation agreement between the Phan Dinh Phung Ward People’s Committee and Thai Nguyen University represents a concrete step toward strengthening ties between grassroots authorities and higher education institutions, harnessing intellectual resources, and contributing to the development of a civilized, modern, and sustainable urban area.
