Workshop on architecture and urban planning

On the afternoon of December 22, the Association of Architects, in coordination with the Thai Nguyen Literature and Arts Association, organized a workshop on architecture and urban planning under the theme “Dialogue with Nature.” The workshop attracted the participation of a large number of architects from within and outside the province.

Delegates share perspectives on urban architectural planning solutions at the workshop.

Presentations delivered at the workshop included topics such as essential infrastructure for parks, green spaces, and regulating lakes in Thai Nguyen’s urban development in the new phase; landscape solutions for flood-control embankments; dialogue with the natural landscape of Ba Be Lake toward the goal of sustainable development; and the development of social housing from practical needs to sustainable development solutions. These presentations analyzed and addressed key issues that require attention in urban development.

Many papers provided in-depth discussions on planning work and the restructuring of urban and rural systems in line with the two-tier local government model, meeting the requirements of economic growth and sustainable development, ensuring the efficient use of natural resources, and demonstrating the responsibility of the architectural community toward the sustainable development of Thai Nguyen Province in the future.
