Nui Phao Mining hosts blood donation day and hair donation activities to support breast cancer patients

On November 28, 2025, Nui Phao Mining collaborated with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Thai Nguyen Central Hospital to organize the 2025 Humanitarian Blood Donation Program, continuing an 11-year journey of fostering a spirit of sharing and social responsibility within the community.

The morning session of the blood donation program at Nui Phao carried a special atmosphere: lively yet orderly, warm without being ostentatious. Despite the early start, hundreds of employees arrived enthusiastically, lining up as directed and carrying a heartfelt willingness to donate their precious blood to patients in need of life. Within a single morning, 246 employees contributed 246 units of blood, providing renewed hope and opportunity for hundreds of people on their healing journeys.

For night-shift employees, Nui Phao implemented a fast-track registration system via citizen ID scanning, provided breakfast, and prioritized these employees to donate first, ensuring they had adequate rest for their subsequent shifts. Every step of the program was meticulously organized, reflecting the Company’s genuine concern for the health and experience of each participant.

Alongside the gift of life through blood, Nui Phao further emphasized another meaningful act of giving this year: hair donation. Four employees voluntarily cut their hair to donate to Hoang Phu Hair Salon - Ho Chi Minh City, part of the Pink Hair Salon Network under the Vietnam Breast Cancer Network, which continues to support women with breast cancer through wig donations and emotional care programs. Each lock of hair sent conveys a quiet yet heartfelt message: the recipients are not alone in their fight against illness.

Additionally, 48 employees received complimentary haircuts. The freshly styled hair and the smiles that followed each first snip created a light and relaxed atmosphere, offering everyone a refreshing experience with energetic short hairstyles.

One of the most poignant moments of the program was the “Blood Warrior” recognition ceremony, honoring 31 employees and contractor partners who had donated blood four times through the Company’s program. Certificates were awarded amid prolonged applause-a sincere tribute to their perseverance, dedication, and warm hearts.

The year 2025 marks the 11th consecutive year Nui Phao has maintained its humanitarian blood donation initiative-a journey not particularly long but sufficient to establish a beautiful tradition within corporate culture. From its early days, when only a few dozen people participated, the program has now evolved into a familiar “Day of Compassion,” where each year the mining plant shines with the spirit of sharing and the noble deeds of its workforce.

A drop of blood shared, a lock of hair donated, hundreds of hearts beating together for the community-this is how Nui Phao quietly yet powerfully continues to convey the message: Life is meant to love and to spread love.
