On the afternoon of October 26, a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Member of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation (former Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee), visited Thai Nguyen Province to deliver financial support to help residents recover from the aftermath of Typhoon No. 11.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung expressed sympathy for the difficulties and losses Thai Nguyen province suffered due to the typhoon. He affirmed that, with a sense of solidarity and social responsibility, the delegation’s contribution would help stabilize people’s lives and restore socio-economic activities in the affected areas as soon as possible.

In this spirit, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) donated 1 billion VND, and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) donated another 1 billion VND to the Relief Fund of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. In addition, philanthropists accompanying the delegation presented 17 gifts, each worth 20 million VND, to households in Nghinh Tuong and Phu Binh communes that suffered severe damage from floods.

Expressing his sincere gratitude for the delegation’s support, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, emphasized that this is a significant source of both material and moral encouragement. He noted that the province is in great need of support from agencies, enterprises, and philanthropists to help ease the hardships of residents in the affected areas.
