Import–export turnover through Thai Nguyen Customs reaches nearly USD 3.5 billion in February

Import–export activities in Thai Nguyen Province have shown positive signs from the early months of 2026. According to Thai Nguyen Customs, in February alone, total import–export turnover handled by the unit reached nearly USD 3.5 billion, of which exports accounted for more than USD 2.2 billion. During the same period, the unit received and processed over 16,000 customs declarations.

In the first two months of 2026, Thai Nguyen Customs processed more than 47,700 customs declarations for organizations and enterprises.

In the first two months of the year, Thai Nguyen Customs completed procedures for more than 47,700 declarations, with total import–export turnover reaching nearly USD 8.95 billion, up over 6 percent compared with the same period last year. State budget revenue from customs activities reached VND 415 billion.

In 2026, Thai Nguyen Province aims to achieve export growth of at least 12 percent, including an increase of over 9 percent in locally generated exports. With the current growth momentum and continued enterprise order expansion, import–export activities in the province are expected to maintain a positive trend in the coming months.
