Thai Nguyen issues new investment registration certificates for 2 FDI projects

On the evening of April 26, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Thai Nguyen City, the Department of Industry and Trade inaugurated the Trade Fair and Exhibition “Industry and Trade - OCOP Thai Nguyen 2024”. 

On April 23, Masan High-Tech Materials (HNX-UpCOM: MSR, “MHT” or “Company”) organized its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) 2024 with the theme of ‘Fit for Future” in Thai Nguyen.

On April 19th, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance (PCA) of Thai Nguyen province, in collaboration with the Korea-Vietnam Economic and Cultural Association (KOVECA) and the Vietnam-Korea Showroom Limited Company, organized a seminar titled "Vietnam-South Korea Economic Promotion and Exchange".

Standard Chartered and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on green financing in Vietnam and to promote the deployment of advanced clean energy in Vietnam.

On April 16 (local time), Thai Nguyen Province organized the 2024 Investment Promotion Conference at the Netherlands. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Netherlands, Ngo Huong Nam; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and Mr. Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, co-chaired the conference. 

Continuing the investment promotion program in some European countries, on April 15 (local time), the Thai Nguyen province delegation visited and worked with the Haskoning DHV International Technical and Project Management Company and visited the Nereda wastewater treatment plant in Utrecht city, the Netherlands.

According to statistics, the total society investment capital in the province reached 11,100 billion VND, up 10 percent compared to last year.
