The conference aimed to concretize key tasks in line with Politburo Resolution No. 57 on the development of science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. With specific steps, Thai Nguyen is among the early localities to issue an action plan, setting targets to launch peak campaigns on data and land. This reflects strong political determination and a proactive, systematic approach, creating an important foundation for the province to continue improving its data system in accordance with central government requirements.

In his remarks at the conference, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that the simultaneous implementation of the innovation competition and the two major campaigns on data and land are particularly important tasks, serving as a fundamental basis for the province’s digital transformation and development in the coming period.

Highlighting the role of innovation, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan said this is not the responsibility of any single sector or field, but must become a widespread movement throughout society. Each agency, unit, and locality, as well as every official and Party member, should proactively innovate in daily work, propose practical initiatives and solutions, and contribute to improving productivity, efficiency, and the quality of services provided to citizens and businesses.

At the conference, the provincial People’s Committee announced the decision recognizing and awarding prizes to 10 winning projects from the first “Innovation - For Our Beloved Thai Nguyen” Competition in 2025, and officially launched the second competition for 2026.
