Workers in enterprises look toward the election day

These days, enterprises across Thai Nguyen province are actively promoting information about the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. The activities aim to raise awareness and strengthen workers’ and employees’ sense of responsibility as they approach the nationwide election day.

TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company currently employs about 19,000 workers. Recently, the company has intensified communication about the election through its internal broadcasting system, trade union meetings, and workshop bulletin boards. As election day falls on a Sunday, the company’s leadership has encouraged employees to plan their time to vote.

Ms. Luc Dieu Linh, TNG Investment and Trading JSC, said: “Through the company’s and the trade union’s communications, we clearly understand the significance of the election. Even though it coincides with a day off, I will arrange my time to return to my hometown to vote and fulfill my rights and responsibilities as a citizen”.

Mr. Ngo Trung Duc, TNG Investment and Trading JSC, shared: “I consider participating in the election to be the responsibility of every citizen. I hope to elect representatives who are capable and who can represent the voice of workers”.

According to statistics, Thai Nguyen currently has more than 14,500 operating enterprises, providing jobs for over 200,000 workers. This large group of voters plays an important role in socio-economic development. In many enterprises, communication activities focus on clarifying the significance of the election and citizens’ rights and responsibilities when selecting representatives who will reflect the people's will and aspirations.

“The plant’s trade union has strengthened communication so that union members and workers clearly understand the significance of the election, while also arranging their time to fully participate in voting and fulfill their rights and responsibilities as citizens", Mr. Vu Tu Anh, Chairman of the Trade Union of Luu Xa Steel Rolling Plant, informed.

Mr. Nguyen Van Cuong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Small and Medium Enterprises Association, shared: “Enterprises are stepping up communication so that workers clearly understand the significance of the election and actively participate in voting, contributing to the success of this nationwide event”.

Strengthening communication within the business sector helps workers better understand the significance of each vote and reinforces confidence in the political system and the country’s development. As the workforce continues to grow, ensuring that every worker can participate in the election day becomes even more important.
