The delegation surveyed Quang Chu Industrial Cluster (Cho Moi Commune), Cho Moi 4 Industrial Park (Thanh Mai Commune), the Tan Ky Bridge construction project (Tan Ky Commune), Huyen Tung Industrial Cluster (Duc Xuan Ward), and a proposed site for a supermarket investment project in the northern area (Bac Kan Ward).
Following on-site inspections of industrial parks, clusters, and several key infrastructure projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that the northern area still holds significant development potential, particularly in industry, infrastructure, and services. He therefore requested that local authorities proactively review, update, and adjust their plans to ensure consistency, coherence, and alignment with the province’s overall development orientation.
He also directed departments, sectors, and localities to accelerate site clearance, complete investment procedures, and prioritize the development of interregional transport infrastructure to facilitate investment attraction. In addition, investment attraction should be selective, prioritizing processing and manufacturing industries, high-tech sectors, and environmentally friendly projects, while effectively leveraging local strengths and advantages to promote sustainable socio-economic development in the province's Northern region.
