Training on management, use, and development of “Green Tea Pork - Thai Nguyen Essence” Brand

The Thai Nguyen Department of Science and Technology has organized a training course on the management, use, and development of the “Green Tea Pork - Thai Nguyen Essence” brand. The event was attended by 100 delegates representing localities, cooperatives, and livestock facilities from 37 communes and wards in the northern area of Thai Nguyen Province.

Participants were briefed on regulations related to intellectual property and trademarks; guided on pork production processes using natural feed supplemented with Thai Nguyen green tea ingredients; and introduced to the regulations on the management, exploitation, and use of the “Green Tea Pork – Thai Nguyen Essence” trademark, which has been granted a Certificate of Registration by the Intellectual Property Office. The trademark owner is the University of Agriculture and Forestry (Thai Nguyen University), along with the associated criteria and brand identity system.

Through the training, livestock facilities, cooperatives, and enterprises were further equipped with knowledge and skills to use the brand in compliance with regulations, while strengthening linkages between state management agencies and production stakeholders, contributing to the development of green tea pork products toward green, safe, and sustainable agriculture.
