Thai Nguyen accompanies and supports the development of commercial projects

On the afternoon of February 7, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee, received and held a working session with a delegation from AEONMALL Vietnam and CMH Group Vietnam to exchange views and discuss orientations for studying and investing in a shopping mall project in Thai Nguyen.

At the meeting, a representative of AEONMALL said that the company had studied the Thai Nguyen market during the 2022-2023 period, after the COVID-19 pandemic was brought under control. After monitoring market developments and the recovery process, AEON assessed Thai Nguyen as a locality with strong potential and suitable for considering investment in a shopping mall with a model and scale meeting local consumers’ needs and shopping culture, while also having the capacity to serve the Northern midland and mountainous region. AEONMALL, together with CMH Group, has conducted site surveys and studied several potential locations as a basis for proposing investment options.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee affirmed that Thai Nguyen wishes to soon see AEON’s presence in the locality, considering this a project of great significance for the development of trade and services, creating an urban highlight, contributing to improving residents’ quality of life, and promoting economic growth. The province committed to accompanying and providing maximum support to the investor during the project research and implementation process.
