In response to the Provincial People’s Committee’s plan to launch the movement “All People Join Hands to Protect the Environment” and to celebrate the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress, on November 1, many localities across Thai Nguyen Province simultaneously carried out large-scale environmental sanitation activities.

Although most of the post-storm waste had already been collected, a large volume of mud, sludge, and residual debris remained, making transportation and disposal efforts challenging. Alongside the support of military and police forces, the authorities and residents of Phan Dinh Phung Ward mobilized thousands of officials and citizens, together with mechanized equipment, water-spraying trucks, and excavators, to jointly clean up the environment.

Similarly, in Linh Son Ward, a mass cleanup campaign was also launched, with the participation of nearly 800 residents, officials, soldiers, youth union members, and sanitation workers. They cleaned up areas along National Highway 1-B, National Highway 17, as well as residential neighborhoods in Đồng Bẩm and surrounding alleys. The activity not only helped remove post-storm waste and mud but also created a vibrant atmosphere of emulation, raising public awareness about maintaining a clean, green, and beautiful urban landscape.

According to statistics, the recent floods generated approximately 25,000 tons of waste and mud across the central area of Thai Nguyen Province. The widespread cleanup efforts in recent days have demonstrated the sense of responsibility and collective effort of local authorities and residents in protecting the environment.
