Thai Nguyen has two districts meeting advanced new rural standards

After considerable efforts, Dai Tu district has officially been recognized as meeting the advanced new rural standards, following a decision signed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha on June 13.

While fulfilling the criteria for the new rural and advanced rural programs, Dai Tu was among the pioneering localities in widening traffic roads from 3 meters to 6 meters.

Dai Tu was certified as meeting the basic new rural development standards in 2023. All 25 communes in the district have met these standards for the 2021–2025 period, including 16 communes achieving the advanced new rural development level and two communes recognized as model new rural development communes. Additionally, the two townships of Hung Son and Quan Chu have been acknowledged as meeting civilized urban standards.

The district has also successfully developed two smart hamlet models (Trung Na Hamlet in Tien Hoi Commune and Dong Tien Hamlet in La Bang Commune) and one smart commune model (Tien Hoi Commune). Currently, the district has 33 certified OCOP (One Commune One Product) items, of which 24 products meet the 3-star standard and 9 meet the 4-star standard.
