"Cricket: The Adventure to the Muddy Hamlet" is a fully 3D animated feature film, with direct participation of students from Thai Nguyen University of Information and Communication Technology in various production and communication stages, under the enthusiastic guidance and support of CinePlus experts. Although adapted from the original work "Diary of a Cricket" by writer To Hoai, the film does not merely retell the old story.

Based on the original plot, the production team has modernized the content to suit contemporary tastes, expanded the character universe and incorporated action elements. The music carries the flavor of international cinema while preserving the humanistic spirit of the original. Notably, many distinctive scenes in "Cricket: The Adventure to the Muddy Hamlet" bear strong characteristics of Thai Nguyen's land and people, such as: tea hills, local trains, natural landscapes and the lifestyle of the northern midland region... artistically integrated in subtle ways, contributing significantly to promoting local history, culture and tourism.

On May 30, 2025, “Cricket: The Adventure to the Muddy Hamlet” will officially be released in cinemas nationwide.
