On March 3, 2025, Ha Thuong Primary School was more vibrant than ever as students eagerly participated in an awareness program in response to Earth Hour. The event was organized by Nui Phao Mining, serving as an engaging extracurricular activity and an opportunity for students to understand the importance of energy conservation and environmental protection from an early age.
Simple Yet Meaningful Lessons
Questions such as "Why should we turn off the lights when leaving the classroom?" or "What happens if we waste electricity and water?" helped students realize that even the smallest actions can make a big difference. Through relatable discussions, more than 400 students explored the concept of energy and its impact on daily life, from classroom lighting and cooling fans to the clean water they use every day.

Beyond theoretical knowledge, NPMC facilitators introduced interactive games such as "True or False?" and "Quick Eyes," helping students recognize energy-saving behaviors and identify household appliances that consume high amounts of electricity. Small gifts from Nui Phao Company further heightened the excitement, reinforcing key lessons in a fun and memorable way.
Nguyen Khac Viet, a 4th-grade student, excitedly shared: "Today, I have learned so many interesting things! I will remind my parents to turn off the lights, close the taps, and share with my friends about these practices to keep the Earth healthy!"
