The Story of a Baby Elephant and the Lesson on Energy Conservation
The program began with Nui Phao’s educators leading students through an engaging story about a baby elephant who loved bathing. Every day, the little elephant drained the pond to enjoy a long bath. Eventually, the pond dried up, leaving fish without a home and plants withering. Only then did the elephant realize the consequences of wasting water. This opening tale delivered an important message: if we do not use energy wisely, natural resources will become increasingly scarce, affecting both our lives and future generations.

With an interactive and creative approach, the program helped nearly 500 students understand that everything from classroom lights and cooling fans to daily access to clean water are valuable resources that should be used intelligently and efficiently.
Energy Saving Has Never Been This Fun
Beyond theoretical lessons, the program energized students with a series of interactive games, teaching them how to identify power-hungry appliances and use them responsibly. The cheerful laughter, eager raised hands, and thoughtful gifts from Nui Phao Mining motivated the children to absorb these lessons in a fun and natural way.
Ngo The Minh, a 5C student, excitedly shared: "At home, I often leave the fan on and forget to turn it off, but after this program, I’ll be more mindful not to waste electricity. My whole family will work together to save energy and protect the Earth!"

Not only the students but also teachers appreciated the initiative. Bui Thi Hoang Yen, the school's Vice Principal, expressed her thoughts: "Awareness programs like this are truly beneficial. They help students understand energy conservation through engaging storytelling. When children develop this awareness early, green habits will be maintained and spread over time."
Simple actions such as saving electricity and water or using energy efficiently are gradually becoming everyday habits, spreading from schools to households. Nui Phao Mining remains committed to supporting the community, not only in promoting energy conservation awareness but also in driving meaningful actions that contribute to a greener and more sustainable future.
