To plant over 1.1 million trees

It is the goal of Thai Nguyen province during the 2025 Tree Planting Festival to implement the program "Planting 1 Billion Green Trees for the 2021-2025 period" in the province. Accordingly, the districts of Dinh Hoa, Dai Tu, Dong Hy, and Vo Nhai are the areas with the largest number of scattered trees, with over 200,000 trees planted per district. Almost 9 districts and cities in the province have organized the launching ceremony for the 2025 Spring Tree Planting Festival.

Update 8.8 million trees on Thai Nguyen Smart Trees App

The Thai Nguyen Department of Agriculture and Rural Development officials participate in the 2025 Tree Planting Festival.

During the 2024 Spring Tree Planting Festival, which was connected to implementing the 1 Billion Green Trees Program for the 2021-2025 period, the province planted over 1.4 million trees, achieving 121.58 percent of the target.

To date, Thai Nguyen Province has surpassed the plan set in the 1 Billion Green Trees Program for the 2021-2025 period, approved by Decision No. 524/QD-TTg dated April 1, 2021, by the Prime Minister. Currently, the province has planted over 12 million trees, exceeding 74 percent of the 2021-2025 target. All the trees planted have been fully updated with information, data, and images on the Thai Nguyen SmartTrees software.
