Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee appoints 7 department leaders after restructuring

Immediately after the Resolution on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee was approved at the 25th Session (special session) of the Provincial People's Council, term XIV, 2021-2026, on the afternoon of February 19, the Provincial People's Committee announced decisions from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee regarding personnel and organizational structure of the specialized agencies following the reorganization.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee handed over the decisions and congratulated the new department heads.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee decided to appoint Mr. Phan Thanh Hà, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, as Director of the Department of Ethnic Affairs and Religion.
Mr. Lê Kim Phúc, Head of the Thai Nguyen Industrial Park Management Board, was transferred and appointed as Director of the Department of Finance.

Mr. Phạm Quang Anh, Director of the Department of Transport, was appointed as Director of the Department of Construction.

Mr. Phạm Việt Đức, Director of the Department of Science and Technology (before the merger), was appointed as Director of the Department of Science and Technology.

Mr. Đặng Văn Huy, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, was appointed as Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.

Mr. Nguyễn Quốc Hữu, Director of the Department of Home Affairs (before the merger), was appointed as Director of the Department of Home Affairs.

The appointments are for a 5-year term and take effect from March 1, 2025.

Mr. Trần Trọng Chung, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office (before the merger), was appointed as Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office until reaching retirement age as per regulations.
