With a total investment of over 4,200 billion VND, the regional connectivity road linking the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, and Vinh Phuc is the largest transportation project in the history of Thai Nguyen province.
Currently, contractors are mobilizing the maximum amount of labor, machinery, and equipment, operating in three shifts per day, and are committed to completing the entire project before March 31, 2025, which is 9 months ahead of the approved schedule.

In the early days of 2025, the joint venture of contractors, including 319 Corporation - Hoang Son Construction Trade Energy Investment Joint Stock Company - Minh Dang One Member Limited Liability Company, has mobilized over 500 workers, engineers, and approximately 350 pieces of machinery and equipment to carry out construction in "3 shifts, 4 crews" to speed up the project progress. Specifically, constructing three large bridges, including the railway overpass, the National Highway 3 overpass, and the Cong River bridge, is being done around the clock.

So far, after more than 2 years of construction (since May 2022), the regional connectivity road project has completed over 70 percent of the total volume.

The regional connectivity road has a total length of 42.55 km, passing through Phu Yen City (33.45 km) and Dai Tu District (9.1 km).
