TNG Company is honored in TOP 100 Sustainable Enterprises 2024

Recently, at the Announcement Ceremony of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam (CSI100) jointly organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD - VCCI), Central Economic Commission, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (TNG Company) was honored in the "Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2024". It is the 8th time TNG has received this award. 

TNG revenue in first half increases by 29 percent

TNG receives the "Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam 2024" award.

In 2024, the CSI Program attracted nearly 500 enterprises nationwide to submit applications, from which the Organizing Committee shortlisted and selected 142 profiles for official evaluation. To achieve the "Sustainable Enterprise" award, TNG met all stringent Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) screening criteria across multiple aspects: Corporate governance, environment, labor, and society. The CSI 2024 significantly increased the "quantification" level of indicators, meaning more quantitative indicators were added, especially environmental indicators. Among 153 indicators in CSI 2024, 62% are compliance indicators, and 38% are advanced indicators.

As a major enterprise with 45 years of experience in textile and garment manufacturing and trading, TNG aligns its strategic direction with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), applying these goals to create comprehensive positive impacts. Economically: Developing strong economic growth, continuously increasing value for all stakeholders. Managing sustainable supply chains, cooperating with suppliers sharing the same commitment to sustainable development, and ensuring responsible sourcing of raw materials. Environmentally: Pursuing green production through energy-efficient technologies and production processes, minimizing waste and pollution. Additionally, it prioritizes the development of eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable products. Socially: Actively participating in social welfare activities, facilitating local economic development where TNG operates, and creating sustainable values for the community. Sustainable development is a consistent goal throughout TNG's operations, and it is affirmed and actively implemented in medium- and long-term development strategies. TNG believes that only sustainable development can help enterprises withstand external challenges. Values beneficial to people and society are enduring values that stand the test of time.
