Thai Nguyen provincial leader works with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai (China)

Continuing the working trip in China, on the afternoon of November 13, the delegation from Thai Nguyen province, led by Mr. Do Duc Cong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, had a meeting with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai. This is one of the six representative offices of Vietnam in China.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Do Duc Cong introduced the potential and advantages of Thai Nguyen province. He also expressed the hope that the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai would support and facilitate the delegation in completing the tasks outlined in their plan, as well as assisting the province in promoting its image and introducing investment projects and policies aimed at attracting investment from Shanghai businesses and investors. He also hoped the Consulate would continue to act as a bridge for cooperation between Thai Nguyen and localities in Shanghai, as well as between businesses from both regions in the future.

Appreciating the potential and advantages of Thai Nguyen in socio-economic development, especially as the center of the northern midland and mountainous region, Mr. Nguyen The Tung, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai, shared that the cooperation between Vietnam and China is being promoted, and exchanges between localities of the two countries are on the rise. Many provinces and cities in Vietnam have established friendly relations with Chinese provinces.

He expressed hope that Thai Nguyen would focus on establishing cooperative relations with a Chinese locality.

The Consulate General of Vietnam in Shanghai also expressed readiness to support the province in attracting investment and introducing businesses interested in exploring investment opportunities in Thai Nguyen.
