Thai Nguyen Delegation participates in various activities in Sichuan (China)

As part of the working program of the Thai Nguyen delegation in China, on November 12, during the 2024 Sichuan International Sister Cities Cooperation and Development Conference, Mr. Do Duc Cong, a member of the Provincial Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council, and Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, also a member of the Provincial Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, participated in the roundtable discussion for leaders of international friendship cities.

At the conference, the Thai Nguyen delegation, represented by Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, participated in the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a friendly relationship between Thai Nguyen Province (Vietnam) and Sichuan Province (China), based on equality and mutual benefit.

Both sides agreed to implement various forms of exchange and cooperation in economy, trade, investment, agriculture, logistics, education, culture, healthcare, science and technology, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges.

The Thai Nguyen delegation also exchanged information with localities and partners, promoting and introducing the province's potential, strengths, investment opportunities, and favorable investment policies.

* On November 12, during the event in Sichuan, there were also supporting forum sessions on topics such as "Clean Energy and Sustainable Development" and "Scientific and Technological Innovation and Global Education Management". Leaders from the Thai Nguyen Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Planning and Investment also participated in these sessions.

In the afternoon, representatives from Thai Nguyen businesses participated in a business networking program. Among them, ALUMINUM Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Hai Dang Joint Stock Company attracted significant interest from Chinese partners.
