Nui Phao donates 150 trash bins valued at VND 30 million

On November 26, 2024, Nui Phao Mining, in collaboration with the Tan Linh Commune People's Committee, launched a program to donate 150 trash bins valued at VND 30 million. The company also organized a training session on environmental sanitation, teaching residents how to classify household solid waste effectively and scientifically.

The training is focused on classification of organic waste, recyclable materials, and hazardous waste, along with practical methods for applying waste classification in daily life. By combining the donation of trash bins with education, the program highlights Nui Phao Mining’s commitment to fostering environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices in affected communities. This initiative aligns with the environmental criteria for the Commune to achieve the advanced new rural development status.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the Tan Linh Commune People's Committee, expressed his appreciation: “Nui Phao Mining has been an active partner in Tan Linh’s journey toward building advanced rural areas. The company not only provides resources for infrastructure projects but also fosters a strong sense of environmental responsibility within the community”.

In the period 2018-2024, Nui Phao Mining has implemented numerous projects to support Tan Linh across various sectors. Notable initiatives include repairs and furnishment of cultural houses, improvement in rural waste management, development of sustainable agricultural models like VietGAP tea production and honey beekeeping, and installation of rural electric lines. These efforts, amounting to a total investment of VND 600 million, demonstrate the company’s unwavering dedication to the sustainable development of Tan Linh Commune in particular and project-affected areas in general.
