Developing tea culture and tea enjoyment culture in Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen is known as the most famous tea land. The tea culture of Thai Nguyen embodies the essence of Vietnamese tea culture, as shared by Tea Artisan Hoang Anh Suong, Vietnam's Tea Culture Ambassador, during the program on the exchange, exploration, and development of tea culture and the tea enjoyment culture in Thai Nguyen, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on November 17.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and gave a speech at the event.

At the program, Tea Artisan Hoang Anh Suong also discussed the history of Vietnamese tea, introduced Vietnamese tea culture and Thai Nguyen tea culture, and tea-related skills, etiquette, communication, and the secrets of selecting tea-making tools. He demonstrated tea-making techniques and the art of tea appreciation while sharing insights on preserving and promoting the cultural values of Thai Nguyen tea, contributing to the recognition of Vietnamese tea culture as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.

Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the event.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized that tea has long been an integral part of Vietnamese culture, especially for Thai Nguyen. He expressed his hope that every resident of Thai Nguyen would become a tea expert. He called for the political system and the people to further enhance their knowledge of tea and work together to preserve the cultural values of tea for future generations.
