On the evening of November 18, the Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Huy Dung, initiated, activated, and donated an online digital library platform to the University of Information and Communication Technology (Thai Nguyen University) on the occasion of the 2024-2025 academic year opening ceremony.
Chairman Nguyen Huy Dung presented 10,000 reading accounts to the University of Information and Communication Technology, Thai Nguyen University. |
The project includes a digital platform, Reavol, developed by Vietnamese people, which provides features for reading books, listening to books, summarizing books, and sharing user-generated content, 500 selected e-books, and 10,000 lifetime free accounts for students of the University of Information and Communication Technology.
This application helps readers save time by providing summaries of books and allowing them to read or listen to multiple books simultaneously quickly. The feature for uploading and sharing user-created works encourages creativity and creates opportunities for connection between readers and publishers.
Chairman Nguyen Huy Dung directed relevant agencies to organize book festivals and book exhibitions and develop reading environments and culture, including establishing modern reading spaces and comfortable areas with full materials, both physical and digital books. It will be implemented first in educational institutions, especially colleges and universities in the province.
Reavol is ready to collaborate with all agencies and organizations in Thai Nguyen province to select, establish, and activate specialized digital book collections in various fields to promote reading culture in the province.
