On the afternoon of October 28, a delegation from the Federation of Seongnam City Trade Unions (South Korea), led by Chairman Park Insu, visited and worked with the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation and the Federation of Seongnam City Trade Unions established a bilateral cooperation relationship in December 2022. In November 2023, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement that includes important content aimed at building and promoting a friendly cooperation relationship, in the spirit of complying with the laws of both countries to protect the legal rights and interests of workers, enhance social welfare, and effectively implement the policies of the Party and State regarding people's diplomacy during the period of international integration.
During the meeting, the leaders of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation provided the delegation with highlights of the economic and social situation as well as trade union activities in Thai Nguyen province. The Provincial Labor Federation currently directly manages over 174,600 workers, civil servants, and employees, including nearly 160,000 union members.
In the future, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation affirmed its commitment to maintaining regular cooperative relations with the Seongnam City Trade Union Federation. They also expressed a desire for the Federation of Seongnam City Trade Unions to continue supporting and caring for Vietnamese workers in the locality and to regularly exchange information and cultural experiences.
Thanks to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Labor Federation for the thoughtful reception, the representative of the delegation highly appreciated the cooperative relationship between the two entities. He affirmed that this cooperation presents an opportunity for both sides to exchange information, engage in cultural exchange, and share experiences in trade union activities.
