WEEK IN REVIEW (From September 16 to September 22, 2024)

On September 19, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, welcomed and worked with a delegation of Korean businesses.

Schools in many parts of the world are becoming targets of bombs and shootings. With a significant increase in the number of attacks in recent years, the United Nations has called on countries to join hands to increase efforts to protect students, teachers and educational institutions amid conflicts.

The Government has issued Resolution No. 143/NQ-CP on the key tasks and solutions for promptly settling the aftermaths of Typhoon Yagi, stabilising people’s life, boosting production and business recovery, actively promoting economic growth, and controlling inflation.

On September 16, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT), in collaboration with the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, organized a Mid-Autumn Festival program themed "Mid-Autumn Festival in the Mong Village" for the Mong children in Mo Chi hamlet, Cuc Duong commune (Vo Nhai district). 

On September 14, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 983/QD-TTg to approve the election results for the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
