Vietnam's economy: 79 years after independence

Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee submits to the Provincial People's Council for approval of Resolution Decision on merging 93 hamlets and residential groups to establish 45 hamlets and residential groups in communes and wards of Pho Yen City and Song Cong City, and 3 districts of Phu Luong, Vo Nhai and Dai Tu. 

Thailand is intensifying efforts to monitor all individuals infected with mpox and their close contacts, ensuring that they are under strict surveillance so as to prevent further spread of the disease, the country's health officials said on August 29.

Vietnam’s economic growth is expected to pick up in 2024, driven by a rebound in manufactured exports and tourism, and recovering consumption and business investment, the World Bank (WB) said on August 26 in a new report.
