Nguyen Huy Dung elected as Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee

On the afternoon of September 6, during the twenty extraordinary session of the 14th Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term, the Provincial People's Council carried out a ballot for the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. 

The delegates elect the position of the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the period of 2021-2026.

The Provincial People's Council carried out a ballot for the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term. As a result, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, was entrusted with the position of Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, receiving 98.4 percent of the votes.

In his speech, the newly elected Chairman, Nguyen Huy Dung, expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee and the delegates of the Provincial People's Council for electing him to the position.

As Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Huy Dung affirmed that he will strive to harness the province's potential and strengths to further its development and contribute to the country's overall progress. He plans to focus on digitizing government operations from the provincial to the local level, promoting digital and green initiatives in economic, cultural, and social activities to create a transparent administrative environment that brings government, citizens, and businesses closer together, developing infrastructure, social welfare, and business community. 

Previously, the Provincial Party Standing Committee had organized a conference to announce the Decision of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat regarding the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, to join the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee for the period of 2020-2025. .
