On September 26, Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union coordinated with AMES English Center to organize the Provincial Final round of the "English Olympic for pupils and students in Thai Nguyen province" in 2024. There were 20 excellent candidates selected from the preliminary round.

In July 2024, the Provincial Youth Union launched the contest for high school students and university students in the area. After 5 weeks of multiple-choice testing on the website, the whole province had nearly 26,000 students registered to participate, ranking 3rd nationwide in the number of participants.
The Organizing Committee selected 20 excellent candidates in the 2 student and pupil categories to enter the provincial round. Here, the candidates competed through 2 rounds: multiple-choice and eloquence.

At the end of the round, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes to Le Thi Hong Phuc, Binh Yen High School (Dinh Hoa) and Doan Thi Binh Nguyen, International School (Thai Nguyen University); 4 second prizes; 4 third prizes and encouragement prizes. The two contestants who won first prizes in the provincial round will represent Thai Nguyen to participate in the final round of the 6th National English Olympic for pupils and students organized by the Central Youth Union in the near future.
