The research model was implemented at the pig farm of Dung Tan Company Limited (Pho Yen City). According to the results of experimental analysis, raising pigs to get meat from food supplemented with Thai Nguyen green tea ingredients increased the percentage of hook meat, decreased back fat thickness, and increased lean percentage. Pork quality increased uniformly in terms of pH, muscle water holding capacity, increased protein ratio, no antibiotic and growth hormone residues detected in meat...
In particular, polyphenols in green tea reduce the accumulation of cholesterol in the pig's body, having a positive impact on the health of animals and consumers... This is the basis for Dung Tan Co., Ltd. to build this model according to farm scale. The company has invested in building 15 breeding barns that meet technical standards, preparing to introduce breeds into livestock farming.
