The province currently has 10,228 businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). To boost the competitiveness of these businesses, the provincial People's Committee has directed departments, agencies, and localities to intensify support for SMEs in applying advanced quality management systems and improving the productivity and quality of their products.

To date, the province has developed and implemented a measurement assurance program for 5 businesses and cooperatives producing packaged goods with OCOP certification created a set of guidelines for applying traceability systems to 6 key agricultural products of the province, including tea, fruits (custard apples, longans, grapefruits), pork, chicken, eggs, timber, and cinnamon; and supported 6 businesses and cooperatives in applying traceability systems linked with brand identification and intellectual property protection for tea products.
Over the past 3 years, with funding from the National Target Program for New Rural Development, many businesses and cooperatives in the province have received support to develop production linked in value chains with product consumption, contributing to the creation of large-scale, focused production links, development of critical local agricultural products, and enhancement of product value and competitiveness.
Under the "One Commune, One Product" (OCOP) program, the province now has 240 OCOP products rated from 3 to 5 stars. Among them, 14 businesses with 27 OCOP products rated from 3 to 4 stars have received support with nearly 700 million VND.
