Samsung Hope School organizes graduation ceremony for its first students

On the afternoon of August 9, Samsung Hope School, located in Quyet Thang Commune, Thai Nguyen City, organized a graduation ceremony for the first 14 students to complete their 12th grade and awarded prizes to the school's students.

At the ceremony, SEVT representatives presented gifts to the 14 students who graduated from 12th grade. These students are the first to graduate after more than 6 years of Samsung Hope School's operation. During the ceremony, SEVT also awarded gifts to 46 students who completed 9th grade, those who excelled in academic competitions, and students in challenging circumstances.

Speaking at the ceremony, SEVT representatives stated that the school's achievements have brought hope and a future to the students and serve as proof of the continuous efforts from the teachers and the support of local authorities.

Samsung Hope School, aiming to provide comprehensive development activities for children in Thai Nguyen Province, was inaugurated and started operating in June 2018, funded by SEVT, and implemented by the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association of Thai Nguyen province and Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI).

Students who participate in classes at Samsung Hope School are those from families with below-average incomes in the areas where the project is implemented.

Starting with 300 students, the school has 423 students across various levels participating in education and activities after over 6 years of operation.
