Prime Minister decides to recognize Dinh Hoa new rural district

Recently, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang signed Decision No. 719/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister regarding the recognition of Dinh Hoa District as meeting new rural area standards for 2023.

Accordingly, the Government has tasked the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee with the responsibility of announcing Decision No. 719/QD-TTg and providing awards as regulations; at the same time, continue to direct Dinh Hoa District’s People's Committee to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria, with a focus on production and environmental standards to ensure sustainability in new rural area construction.

To achieve this goal, Dinh Hoa District has mobilized various resources from the central and provincial governments, with high effort and determination from the entire political system and the collective support of residents. As a result, infrastructure projects such as electricity, roads, schools, and health stations have been invested in and upgraded; policies to promote economic development and poverty reduction have been effectively implemented, significantly improving the people's living standards.

In 2023 alone, the district has 6 communes meeting new rural standards, 3 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, and Cho Chu Town meeting urban civilization standards. By the end of 2023, the district has 22 out of 22 communes meeting new rural standards, with 3 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 1 town meeting urban civilization standards. 

To date, the entire province has 118 out of 126 communes meeting new rural standards and 6 district-level units have completed new rural standards.
