Revenue of enterprises in industrial parks reaches 16.97 billion USD

During the first six months of 2024, the production and business activities of enterprises in industrial parks (IPs) in the province showed considerable growth, with total revenue reaching 16.974 billion USD, up 13 percent compared to the same period in 2023. Export value reached 13.23 billion USD, an increase of 9 percent year-on-year. Enterprises contributed 3.428 billion VND to the state budget, a 19 percent increase compared to the same period.

Also, in the past six months, the IPs in the province saw an additional ten new projects come into operation, creating new jobs for 6,815 workers, bringing the total workforce in IPs of the province to 88,382 people. The average income of workers in IPs reached 9 million VND per person per month.

Currently, Thai Nguyen has 5 out of 11 IPs in operation, including Song Cong I, Song Cong II, Diem Thuy, Yen Binh, and Nam Pho Yen. The IPs have attracted 313 investment projects in production and business. Among them, 174 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total registered capital of over 11.3 billion USD; 139 domestic direct investment (DDI) projects with a total registered capital of 22,410 billion VND.
