July is a month of remembrance and gratitude for the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the revolutionary cause of the nation. On the occasion of Martyrs' and Invalids' Day (July 27), Nui Phao Mining joined forces with the People's Committees of Khoi Ky and Tan Linh communes, the Dai Tu District Medical Center and Thai Ha Eye Hospital to offer free medical check-ups and medicines to 225 war veterans from Khoi Ky and Tan Linh communes in Dai Tu district.

Talking to Mr. Vu The Mao (Hamlet 9, Tan Linh commune) - a veteran of the American war for almost 15 years, said: "The war is over, but the memories of those bomb-laden days remain. It's truly moving that every year on July 27, Nui Phao Mining organizes useful activities like this for us veterans. Besides helping improve my health, this medical check-up program allows me and my comrades to reunite and feel the deep caring of the company and the community. It's an invaluable gift that gives us spiritual strength to continue leading happy, healthy lives every day".
During the two-day program, Nui Phao Mining's medical team carried out health examinations, gave advice on nutrition and exercise, conducted specialist treatment consultations for detected illnesses, and distributed free medicines to policy beneficiaries.

On this occasion, representatives of Nui Phao Mining also visited the 27/7 historical site and the martyrs' cemeteries in the communes of Hung Son town, Ha Thuong, Phuc Linh and Tan Linh communes. The company came to see and present gifts to 40 veterans in Dai Tu district, as a deep expression of gratitude.
Beyond material support, the 27/7 gratitude program is an occasion for Nui Phao Mining and its employees to share care and show gratitude to the families of war veterans and to the community. The program is part of the company's long-term commitment to sustainable community development.
