Launching English Olympic for students in Thai Nguyen

On July 15, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee organized the launch event for the 2024 English Olympic Competition for students and university students in Thai Nguyen province.

During the event, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee called upon all youth members, students, and university students to participate and register. It is an opportunity for participants to test their knowledge of international standard English, fostering enthusiasm for academic study, training, and English usage.

This year's competition consists of a preliminary round and a provincial-level direct competition, divided into two categories (students and university students). The preliminary round will be online from July 15 to August 18, 2024. The Organizing Committee will select the top performers from each category weekly to participate in the provincial-level competition scheduled for September 2024. The provincial competition will choose the top 4 contestants (1 student and 3 university students) to compete in the IELTS certification round.

The English Olympic Competition for students and university students is organized jointly by the Central Youth Union and the Central Vietnam Students' Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and AMES English. In previous editions, students and university students from Thai Nguyen Province have actively participated and achieved outstanding results.

After the launch event, 250 students enthusiastically registered for the preliminary online competition.
