Comments to the national target program on culture development during the period of 2025-2035

On the afternoon of April 5, a working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, Member of the Central Party Committee and head of the Culture and Education Committee of the National Assembly, held a working session with Thai Nguyen province to gather comments for the construction and completion of the orientation for the national target program on culture development from 2025 to 2035 (the Program).

Attending the working session were Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, the Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Program aims to focus on several aspects of developing the Vietnamese people with pleasing personalities and lifestyles, building a healthy cultural environment, developing infrastructure, landscapes, and synchronized cultural facilities, and preserving and promoting the values of national cultural heritage... The estimated budget for implementation in the province is 5.5 trillion VND.

Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai, delivered her speech at the working session.

In her speech at the working session, she proposed that the implementation of the Program should be regionally tailored; the targets regarding cultural facilities need to be more specific and clear. Besides, after approval, central ministries and agencies should promptly develop and issue legal documents to ensure unity, specificity, comprehensibility, and suitability with current legal provisions and local realities; there should be strong sanctions to handle violations in the cultural field.

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr Nguyen Dac Vinh acknowledged and embraced the contributions of the provincial leaders and representatives of relevant levels and sectors. Through this, the comments will be synthesized and refined to serve the Program.
