Nui Phao Mining receives commendation from Chairman of Thai Nguyen provincial People’s Committee

On January 26, at the conference summarizing the patriotic emulation movement in 2023 and the program honoring 'Outstanding Enterprises, Exemplary Entrepreneurs,' Nui Phao Mining was honored to receive a Commendation Certificate from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province for its outstanding efforts in production, business, and positive contributions to the community and locality.

In 2023, despite the challenges faced by the global and domestic economies, the management team and all employees of Nui Phao Mining were determined to implement the ‘growth through sustainability’ strategy. The focus was on innovative activities and efforts to maintain stability in production and business. As a result, the company achieved revenue growth and continued to excel in community development and social welfare initiatives.

Over the past year, Nui Phao Mining, along with its member companies of Masan High-Tech Materials, has focused on research & development process improvement, aiming for green production, utilizing AI technology, and advanced mineral extraction and processing management software. This has helped optimize recovery rates and minimize mineral resource waste. As innovations were intensified, the company has developed new, sustainable, and breakthrough material solutions, better meeting the needs of key industries globally. Recycling and sustainability will continue to be the company's focus, aiming for even better business efficiency in 2024.

In addition to sustained effective business operation, Nui Phao Mining is a flagship contributor in the province of Thai Nguyen, actively contributing to the State budget, supporting the implementation of socio-economic development activities, creating livelihoods for workers, and enhancing community welfare. In 2023, the company contributed VND 1,050,181 billion to the State budget, making it the highest contributor among Vietnamese businesses in Thai Nguyen Province. This contributed in part to Thai Nguyen’s highest-ever budget revenue of VND 20,196 billion, exceeding its budget target.

In 2023, the company allocated over VND 4 billion for social welfare, humanitarian, charitable, and economic development activities in Dai Tu district, specifically, and Thai Nguyen province as a whole. At the same time, the company maintained stable employment for over 1,500 employees, ensuring no job losses or salary reductions.
