A warmer Tet to the poor 

On January 10, 2024, Dai Tu district organized the launching ceremony of “The peak week of Tet for the poor in the threshold of the Dragon Year of 2024". At the program, Nui Phao Mining Company Limited (Nui Phao Mining) extended support of VND 50 million and 77 gift packs with a total value of nearly VND 100 million for the poor and near-poor households, and local people in need.

Over the years, Nui Phao Mining  as well as the Dai Tu business community have always joined hands for the cause “Dai Tu altogether joins hands for the poor - No one left behind”, and enthusiastically supported “The peak week of Tet for the poor” with the utmost compassion and responsibility. This is an annual activity of Nui Phao Mining throughout its establishment and development, the Company has always worked to promote harmony between corporate and community interests by giving back to the community, and in particular, helping those who are socially disadvantaged. This not only demonstrates the Company's responsibility but also the care, sympathy, empathy and love. For more than a decade, the Company has donated about VND 1 billion to support the "Tet for the poor" program, rendering help to thousands of people with disadvantaged conditions. Apart from that, the Company also spends VND 3-5 billion each year on social welfare, humanitarian, charity, and community development activities in Dai Tu district in particular and in Thai Nguyen in general.

“Over the years, Nui Phao Mining and other enterprises operating within the locality have made enormous contributions to the social welfare activities of the district as well as of Thai Nguyen province through programs such as the construction of new rural areas, Tet for the poor, etc. Many of the locals have benefited from the Company’s CSR activities, which have inspired and assisted the underprivileged to strive for a better life. We would very much appreciate the continued support from Nui Phao Mining and other businesses to assist in building a more developed, wealthy Dai Tu that will soon meet the new rural district standard”, said Nguyen Nam Tien, acting Chairman of Dai Tu District People’s Committee.

Nui Phao Mining is also the flagship in Thai Nguyen province for its contribution to the State budget, its support to the implementation of socio-economic development, the generation of livelihoods for the workers, and enhancement of community welfare. Each year, the company contributed over VND 1,000 billion to the State Budget, USD 1 million for investment, socio-economic and cultural development activities in Thai Nguyen, and created thousands of new jobs for the local population. 

In 2023, in response to Resolution No. 07-NQ/HU dated May 10, 2023 by the Standing Committee of Dai Tu Party Committee regarding the “6-meter road widening” Movement, Nui Phao Mining provided 3,000 tons of Quan Trieu PCB30 cement valued at VND 3.4 billion. This would help Dai Tu district meet the new rural district criteria and establish a wider and longer-lasting rural roadways; while also significantly improving local socio-economic development and enhancing quality of life for the locals.

Nui Phao Mining focuses on social welfare, humanitarian and charitable activities.

The contribution of Nui Phao Mining will help the impoverished overcome their disadvantages, celebrate the new Spring and Tet holidays, gradually stabilize their lives and escape poverty as the Dragon Year 2024 is approaching.
