Thai Nguyen promotes investment in South Korea

"Thai Nguyen promotes investment in South Korea - A thriving destination for investors" was the topic of the investment promotion seminar organized by Thai Nguyen Province in South Korea on the morning of October 5 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, Suwonsi City, South Korea. The seminar was jointly organized by the Provincial People's Committee of Thai Nguyen, the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea, and various international partners.

Delegates attending the seminar included Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Hoang Van Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; leaders from several relevant departments and sectors; Saigon Telecommunication Technology Corporation; and several businesses and investors from the province.

In recent years, thanks to significant improvements in the investment environment, Thai Nguyen has become an attractive and reliable destination for both domestic and international investors, including many investors from South Korea. Thai Nguyen Province has organized various investment promotion activities domestically and internationally to introduce and promote the province's excellent investment policies and image to a wide range of investors.

This time, the province aims to introduce the local business environment, projects, investment attraction policies, potential, and advantages to foreign companies. Additionally, Thai Nguyen aims to enhance cooperation and attract investments in infrastructure, industrial production, high technology, smart urban development, tourism, services, and hospitality from South Korean investors.

Vice Chairman Dang Xuan Truong spoke at the seminar and expressed the province's desire to continue attracting large-scale international and domestic investors soon. The province will focus on implementing favorable policies, administrative reform, and digital transformation, proactively addressing difficulties and issues faced by investors, and strengthening trust with investors currently involved in projects in Thai Nguyen.

Furthermore, the province also has special local support mechanisms for large-scale investment enterprises, generating employment opportunities, utilizing land reasonably, protecting the environment harmoniously, and ensuring stable and sustainable growth. Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, reaffirmed the province's strong commitment to investors and expressed confidence that South Korean investors will be welcomed in Thai Nguyen at the earliest opportunity.

At the seminar, representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, KCCI South Korea, and various businesses that have invested or plan to invest in Thai Nguyen discussed and exchanged information about the attractive investment environment in Vietnam in general and Thai Nguyen Province in particular. They also hoped that Thai Nguyen would continue to be a reliable destination for foreign investors, including those from South Korea.
